Jay Whiss, Toronto rapper just released a new music video; Welcome To The Life produced by the well-known and loved producer, Murda Beatz.

The track reflects on his life and questioning not living another day. Getting to where he is today he might have done some questionable decisions and followed through with it, but that’s how life is at times. From thinking about his funeral when he passes, spending money on materialistic things for therapy, and struggling with getting to the light in life.

Running from the cops, drinking and getting bitches, getting paid, and switching lanes to get to where he has to, Jay’s words depict a strong image of not only his life, but other rappers lives too. In the video, you can spot Jay stepping out a Roll’s Royce, then rapping in Harry’s Char Broil & Dining Lounge wearing Versace shades, drinking a god bottle of liquor.

His chauffer drives him down Yonge and Dundas Square pass Hard Rock Cafe, to him rapping in a dark basement with flickering lights, while he raps the chorus:

“Maybe everything I did to get here wasn’t right, but, but what I don’t see another night, hope there’s no one at my funeral that I don’t like, maybe that’s just life, I get what I want, I’m never worried bout the price, standing in the dark, but I bet you could see the ice.” – Jay Whiss

The track just came out two days ago and is already making a huge buzz in the city, with over 13,315 views on Youtube.

He has been premiered on OVO Sound Radio with his track Watch This two years ago and has been gaining a bigger following with his music since. but has come back with a hot new single that has been steadily climbing in the past few days. With tracks such as Cheat Day, he shows his versatility in his music. Who’s to say what Jay will come out with next for his fans. He definitely has the potential to blow up even more over time.
