Crooks & Castles showed their spring 2011 footwear collection at Agenda Huntington Beach. The silhouettes they produced for their debut carry over in new materials and colors. In my opinion, The Hundreds have a better shoe release for Fall/Winter 2010 than this series. These seem mediocre at best, but I had to post it up, I love Crooks.

The Conductor came to fame in the late 80′s when Patrick Ewing became the face of basketball for the New York Knicks (remember that?). Since then the Conductor has seen every transformation including lifestyle, boot, and most recently a collaboration. This model uses premium materials with a gradient tone upper using charcoal, black, and white. Varsity style letters read DS on the side as a nod to the Death Star Stormtroopers and the matching jacket that will release with it. A special Storm Trooper emblem is stitched into the tongue to complete the model.
Sick release, I think this is something people could actually rock without looking like a dick from the Star Wars X Adidas collection. Maybe the Jabba the Hutt Attitude Hi’s as well…

Last year, Nike formulated a sneaker series dubbed the “East vs West” pack which highlighted designs by DJ Clark Kent, Eddie Cruz and others. This new Nike Dunk Hi Premium seems to be one of the sneakers that didn’t make the actual cut. However, this size 9 sample is now available in an auction on eBay. It contains a tri-textured construction using premium leather, tumbled leather and suede (swoosh). Other features include white contrast stitching, a red/white speckled midsole and an East vs West Pack logo on the insole. Looks damn good to me, who cut this one out?

The popular Jordan 6 Rings has once again taken on the color scheme of a popular OG Jordan. It’s inspiration this time: the Air Jordan 8 “Aquas”. This shoe uses a black suede and patent leather upper over a white and purple outsole. Aqua accents pop up over the hybrid, most notably on the Air Jordan 7 and Air Jordan 8 inspired tongue. Unfortunately, this new colorway it is out only in kids sizes with no word on an adult release yet. I have my money on a release in adult sizes soon after. Just got to be patient, it’s a virtue right?

The Hundreds Johnson Mid has just released in two new colorways. Both are ankle cut models feature suede two piece uppers set on vulcanized outsoles like original Vans. The two colours are Black/Turquoise and Off White/Black. Oval laces and embossed Jag print set off the clean and simple silhouette. The nice textures and classic body make these a great fall piece.

The Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey” has finally surfaced. We got a first look at the GS model of the upcoming retro release, which is rumored to drop on December 23rd.
The entire midfoot and upper are light grey, while the Cool Grey hue is for the trademark patent leather mudguard. The sole is a blue tint that the OG pair didn’t originally have, but that could be because these are a Grade School model. We’ll have to wait until the men’s sizes surface to find out if they will also have a blue tinted outsole

The Nike Big Nike High has been spotted in a new colorway with an expected arrival in the very near future. Contrasting its black base is a pseudo-textured patent leather in Metallic Silver. That material is used on the midfoot, Swoosh, foxing and toe. White laces work with the midsole for contrast. Working as an accent is the Team Orange tongue tag.

Takashi Murakami teamed up with the cult status watch brand Casio to produce a translucent red G-Shock Frogman, complete with Takashi Murakami “flower” artwork on the caseback and packaging, as well as the artist’s signature across the strap. The watch will be released on September 11, 2010 and is limited to 300 pieces. Even the mini pillow inside is detailed and crafted with quality materials, how thoughtful.

Earlier this Summer, news of the Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite surfaced. Because of its progressive, futuristic- style, the hybrid shoe was hated and loved by it’s mixed audience. Nevertheless, this sneaker has revolutionized the sneaker industry with its two-mold process that delivers an unprecedented shape, color, and comfort.
The Metallic Silver Foamposite was used for the entire upper, though the paneling lines remain true to the Air Force 1 Hi. An icy sole sits underneath, which is a further nod to the Air Foamposite One. There is no word yet on how wide of a release the Nike AF1 Foamposite will be but WEST NYC, has confirmed that they will be getting it very soon.

Check out the new Nike Pepper Low in all of it’s leather bounded goodness. This series caught the eyes of unexpected audiences with its simple lines and basic color scheme. Black leather is used on the entire upper, as well as the metal eyelets. A white vulcanized sole accents the heel and tongue branding with the laces.
A bright blue is used as contrast on the heel and tongue. How Swagg do these look?

The Canvas Jordan was once an extremely rare collectors item, the Sky High Canvas will release later this fall. The Jordan Canvas is a strict casual, everyday shoe (something you wouldn’t want to wear on the court). White and black colorways will release in September, both of which feature Cement Grey and Varsity Red accents. How clean do these look, like realllly?? They would be my “go-to” pair of sneakers for almost all occasions. I like how the white swoosh pops on the black pair but the white ones are just so clean… I’m down to get one in each colorway… Whether you knew about this shoe or are just seeing it for the first time, do you plan to drop a very fair $85 for a pair come September?

Here is an update to the Poets x Nike SB Blazer High Premiums post I did a while back. Some new detailed pics just dropped of its suede and textured nubuck upper, so I thought I’d share them with you. Perforation is used for the quarter panels while the midfoot and Swoosh are both canvas, which contrasts the smooth feel of the rest of the shoe nicely. White accents are seen throughout, including on the heel and midsole stripe. These will hopefully be available in North America by November of October… Hopefully.
