Chris Rivers recently dropped his debut album Delorean – the 21-length track project that the artist is extremely proud of.
As he shows his rhyming abilities right off the top in his first track Delorean – his introductory to his album – he reflects on his past when he didn’t have many fans, and how people care about major label artists. He raps about his father – the legendary Big Pun, making money, growing up in the hood, being in the studio, and more. He even got rappers Styles P, Sheek Louch, Jarren Benton plus more. He brings the old-school hip-hop vibes to the project, while adding r&b – throwback feels like in the track Old Thing Back – making Chris Rivers perfect for the old-school and stand out in new age artists today.
The MC has definitely had pressure as an artist to live up to his father Big Pun but this album shows his true artistry and abilities that are entirely his own. DASAFAC is the first visual he has dropped off his album that would his father proud.
Director GT for GT Visionz created a visual that represents Chris Rivers being studied and coming back even harder this time around.
